Pokehana is a small shop in downtown Guelph, made for quick lunches, familiar faces, and the occasional “what do you recommend?” Whether you know exactly what you want or need a minute at the counter, we’re here to make it easy. Just fresh bowls, friendly faces, and a little everyday aloha.

Made to order, mixed right in

Made from scratch, every single day. We hand-cut salmon fillets and ahi tuna loins, prepare kanikama, tofu, and crisp vegetables, and make seven signature sauces in-house — from a light, refreshing shoyu to a fiery garlic gochujang, including three gluten-free options.

Our sauces aren’t an afterthought. They’re mixed right into the poke, bringing everything together and giving each bowl its own balance of flavour.

Layered with over a dozen toppings — including our house-pickled favourites — Hawaiian tradition and Japanese-fusion flair come together in bowls made with care and meant to be enjoyed.

The compliment we’re chasing isn’t about the fish, though we take that part seriously. It’s watching a first visit turn into a habit: you learn the counter, we learn your order, and eventually, it feels a little like coming back to somewhere you know.
